Funding options

All children aged 3-4 years are entitled to 15 hours Early Years Funding direct from the government for the term AFTER they turn three.

This funding is paid direct to the nursery, on completion of a Parent Declaration Form (please click to download the form) If you can't download this form, please ask for a print out at the nursery.

Funding lasts until the child enters full time school. Evidence must be provided of your child’s date of birth (e.g. birth certificate, passport).

Depending on your circumstances and earnings, you may be eligible for 15 hours per week for 2 year olds (parents receiving benefits or working) or 30 hours for 3 to 4 year olds each week if you are working - see links below:

You will need to apply for 2 year old or 30 hour funding by the end of the month before a new term starts.
